I'm Casey, an LA-based TV lover experienced in television writing, development, and criticism.

 

A TV writer is the only thing I've ever wanted be (save for a brief stint of wanting to be a "digger" at age 6). In middle school my dad introduced me to The West Wing. In high school I took Aaron Sorkin's MasterClass, bought Final Draft, and wrote a (poor) House spec while fantasizing about the curriculum as Emerson College. Come senior year, my dreams hadn't budged an inch. 

 

At Emerson, I ran the TV section of our student-run online entertainment magazine and discovered a passion for television criticism that rivals that of TV writing itself. A writer by day and watcher by night, I decided to build a space to keep doing what I love. Here you'll find my thoughts on television episodes that I found to be particularly outstanding, disappointing, or just interesting.

 

I'm perpetually writing pilots as I work towards getting staffed on a major series, but the best thing about TV is that it's a team sport.
